Dr. Armstrong Takang is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nigeria’s Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), where he oversees the management of assets valued at over 20 trillion Naira. Before his current role, he served as the Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, leading several transformation initiatives in investment and technology management.
Dr. Takang holds both B.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Hull, UK. His extensive career spans investment consultancy and public reforms across Africa and the United States, including tenure at KPMG’s New York office. He has played pivotal roles in designing and implementing national initiatives such as the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) and the Office for Nigerian Content Development in ICT under NITDA.
Beyond his role at MOFI, Dr. Takang sits on the boards of several companies in Nigeria and the United States, contributing his expertise to various sectors.
