The Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), Ggenga Adebayo, has commended the Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) for its exceptional performance in protecting telecommunications infrastructure across the state.
Adebayo gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Command Headquarters in Abeokuta recently.
He praised the command for its professionalism, rapid response, and intelligence-led operations, noting that Ogun State currently records the lowest incidents of vandalization, fibre cuts, and damages to telecom installations nationwide. He attributed the achievement to the commitment and leadership of the Ogun State Commandant, Remilekun Omolade Ekundayo, and the dedicated officers and personnel under her command.
“The results we are seeing in Ogun State are not by accident. They reflect the dedication, discipline, and strategic leadership of Commandant Remilekun Omolade Ekundayo. We appreciate the outstanding work she and her team continue to do,” Adebayo said.
