Chief David Obasi Nwachukwu Chairman DPH, is a finance professional with over 35 experience in Banking & Finance, Financial Management, Commercial, Merchant and Development banking, Governance and Economic Development issues, Corporate Strategy and funding with an in-depth understanding of the operating environment in a developing country environment. Mr. Nwachukwu has both Master and Bachelors degree in Economics from University of Lagos. He also has a Post-graduate Fellowship in General Management, Graduate School of Business, Boston University, Boston, Mass, USA. He is a member of Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) etc.
He has working experience of several countries both in public and private sector. Mr. Nwachukwu is currently the Managing Consultant/CEO of Mezzanine Consulting Associates, former Managing Director/CEO of Leasing Company of Nigeria Limited (LECON), former Managing Director/CEO of defunct Midas Bank PLC; former Executive Director of defunct Savannah Bank of Nigeria PLC; former General Manager/Executive Director of Equatorial Trust Bank Limited. In consulting capacity, Mr. Nwachukwu have worked with several institutions such as DFID/Government of Nigeria Project on Joint Public/Private Sector Reform Agenda; UNDP/Rivers, Kwara, Bauchi, Imo and Zamfara States Government on SEEDS Documents; Technical Adviser on Reforms and Economic Matters to Government of Ebonyi State on SEEDS; National Democratic Institute/Presidency/DFID and USAID on NEEDS
