Madam Aisha Rimi is the newly appointed MD/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), bringing over 30 years of legal and investment experience to the role. A native of Katsina State, she earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) with a specialization in International Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham. Her distinguished legal career includes foundational roles at top Nigerian and international law firms, and she co-founded Africa Law Practice, where she honed her expertise in foreign investment, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions.
At NIPC, Rimi leverages her deep understanding of international investments and project finance to drive strategic growth across key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and manufacturing. Known for her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to social impact, she has also led pro bono initiatives supporting domestic abuse victims and community development. Her visionary leadership is set to transform Nigeria’s investment landscape, making the nation a more efficient and investor-friendly destination.
